I recently installed Parallels 10 and migrated Windows 7 onto my MBP. Everything works well until it is time to shutdown Windows. I can suspend or stop the session with no problems, but if I try to restart or shutdown the session, it gets to the shutting down screen and keeps working and working but never shuts down. Anyone know how to fix this.

I don't understand why people by Macs and install Windows on them.

If you can afford to spend $1500 on something because it's cool, what's another $100 to make it useful too?

If you migrated from a physical box, it's likely that you have device drivers or programs installed for hardware that no longer exists. Try removing all programs and drivers that may pertain to hardware in your old PC.
