For some strange reason, all my open email windows start from left to right on my taskbar with the main email client on the right. Anyone know how to toggle that so that the first window on the left of the taskbar is the email client and every window after that is open emails?

TIA

What OS do you use? On mine, it keeps the open window as a subwindow on the main icon.

Thanks Chiz. Using 7 Professional.

For some reason, every email is NOW opening to the right I did some clicking on the options, but didn't see an option for what I needed. Now it appears to be working though. Still strange and if you have any ideas how that happened, I'm all ears.

that's wild.

I have the same OS.

so for example, you open outlook, the outlook icon is on the task bar (start bar), then when you open an email (and it opens in a new separate window), does the icon go next to the program icon? or kind of stack on top?

I had a screenshot all loaded up before it started working but never saved it.

Previous taskbar Left to Right:

Windows Logo-->Mozilla-->email 1-->email 2-->email 3-->Outlook email client

Current (L to R):

Windows Logo-->Mozilla-->Outlook email client-->email 1-->email 2 etc etc

quote:

or kind of stack on top?

That happens when you have multiple emails and you run out of space so it consolidates.

ETA: I need to update to the new Outlook anyway
