Any experiences? I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on one. Really all I want is something that will do XBMC/Kodi and Sling TV. I know I could go the much cheaper route and get Nexus Player, but no ethernet port is a deal killer for me. I don't stream wireless. Don't even bother making the argument. Not gonna happen.

The next option up would be the Razer Forge, at $150 for the unit plus controller. I know I could just use my phone as the controller but I find that annoying.

The NVidia Shield has infrared so I could even use something like my Harmony remote for TV stuff. At $150 vs $200, might as well get the mac daddy.

What about the new Amazon Fire tv? That will side load kodi and support sling tv.

I have 2 nexus players that I hardwired. Takes like $10 in stuff from amazon. A USB to micro USB adapter, and a Ethernet to USB. Voilà, cat5 to a nexus player. Kodi flies

Have one and highly recommend it. Only annoyance is that you can't sign in with multiple users, but that is true of the Nexus player as well.

Just ordered it. Will update with status after it arrives, probably late next week.

Nice piece of hardware, very fluid controls, smooth playback, everything looks crisp.

For some reason the Fox Sports Go app on here doesn't have Comcast, AT&T, or Dish network as available sign-ins so I can't currently use it. The Fox Sports Go app on my Android phone has all those, I don't know what the story is with that, I'm guessing this is something the Fox guys need to fix with the Android TV app.
