New TV and home theater suggestions

Due to a lightning strike, my home theater and tv were fried Along with many other things in my house.
I currently have a 55" Led Samsung which is too small. It's mounted over my mantel which I measured to be 74.5 inches.
I had a Bose lifestyle system with 4 recessed ceiling speakers, a recessed ceiling subwoofer, and a recessed center speaker under the tv.
I don't know the condition of the speakers or subwoofer from the Lightning hit. I am hoping they are still functioning and the main unit is only what took the hit.
The homeowners insurance will pay for a comprable replacement. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

What's wrong with having it mounted over my mantel or fireplace?

Terrible angle in which to watch tv. Bad for acoustics.
Do you enjoy watching movies at the theater in the front row?

Nothing really. It all depends on the room dimensions. For example, mines hung up at basically eye level for someone that's 6' tall when standing. It's slightly tilted down maybe 5degrees or so but our sofa is a solid 12-15 feet away from the TV.
It all just depends. If you and your wife or s/o like it, then you're good.
