New Computer - External HDD Permissions

I just picked up a new computer to replace an older one. I have two 2 TB external hard drives that I use to store various files. I transferred most of the files needed to the hard drives, so I did not do any structured/programmed transfer. Both computers are on Windows 10.
When I try to access the External HDDs from the new computer, various folders give me an error a Permission error. My account has Administrator privileges on both computers. I can go in and manually change the "Security" tab on each to add "Everyone", and Full Control. Is there any quicker, mass change option? Assign this account full control to both entire HDDs?

Inherited permissions. Apply what you want at root (parent) and force permissions down to folder/file level of children

This. Under Security, Advanced.
You can replace inheritable permissions on Child Objects.
