Netgear Orbi any reviews?

I did a search and there are a few posters that talked about it.
Does anyone have it? Would you buy it over google wifi?
I have a new 3000 sq foot home with playroom upstairs so I want to make sure wifi is good up there with kids and football games when needed.
Or should I just get the Nighthawk and save money?

Cisco/linksys velop has better tech specs I believe but the orbi is good as well.
With your layout you would benefit from a mesh system.

I've looked at the Amplifi HD but I read a report that the Orbi was better.
I can get a 3 pack Orbi at Costco, but I'm not sure if that is too much.
I decided to get 500 Mbps internet for $99 and watch tv on Youtube or DirectTV now and no phoneline in house.
I figure a nice router is important in cord cutting.
I wasn't going to pay $10 a month for renting one.

I have 3500 SF and just got an Orbi 2 piece system
I actually haven't checked the speed upstairs since I installed it last week but one of the units is close to the stairs so I should be fine.
My crappy uverse 12mb connection is a lot more stable since I switched though
Obviously I can't use much of the bandwidth that the orbi has to offer though

Croaka,
How's it working?
I can get two on Amazon for $350 or 3 at Costco for $450.
Is it necessary for 3 of them?

I paid 360 just 2 weeks ago.
I think the system of 2 will work for 99% of homes, as long as the base is being put where it can serve at least part of the home.
Costco puts the set of 3 on sale from time to time if you wanted to go that route though I don't think it's necessary.

I purchased a 2 pack Orbi about a month ago and am very pleased. I chose the Orbi over Google Wi-Fi and others because it has a dedicated radio connection between each Hub. 2.4 and 5 g are separate from the dedicated 3rd connection.
I have an 1800 sqft house and all works fine and it's very fast and easy to manage via app/web page... hope this helps...

Check out Velop and the specs. It is pretty damn good and utilizes a dedicated connection between the Access Points that doesn't interfere with the bandwidth. Most including Google WiFi don't have this feature. Also look at the chip sets this runs the AC2300 vs AC1200 for Google.

The Orbi pods or whatever you want to call them also have a dedicated channel for taking between each other that doesn't cut into your bandwidth.
