Need home desktop - what to get please?

I am no guru on computers. The one I have is beginning to let me down.
I don't play video games but my grandkids sometimes do when they are here.
I think I just need something reliable. About all I use it for is email, looking up history stuff and of course checking Tigerdroppings a few times a day.

I would just get a cheap ($300-$500) laptop unless you just really want a big screen.

I recently bought an all in one HP 23 inch with touch screen. Love it. I know it isn't preferred because if something goes wrong with pc screen is useless or vice versa and it isn't easily upgradeable, but it gets the job done and is a small footprint on the desk.

Dell All-In-Ones are great for people who are looking for a desktop to have around the house.
Great screens, easy upkeep and if you take care of it and run malware bytes on a regular basis, it will last a long time.
