I was having an issue on the "begin here" button Sunday on a stick I was setting up for a friend.

I said screw it and just went for the Exodus repo. I believe it's in the option after begin here (maybe English?). Just scroll down until Exodus.

Ok I think I got it. Downloaded exodus and now I'm able to find tons of stuff to watch.
Gracias.

One of the steps is putting him at a stop sign. It's not his fault. There's an issue with the installing of Fusion after you link the Repo

Tools - Accounts - TRAKT.tv

Set up a Trakt.tv account. Once you sync it to your Exodus, you can add shows to a library.

Under TV shows / Movies, hit the Hamburger button (the button with 3 horizontal lines), trakt manager, add to collection.

After you do that, you can go to My TV Shows or My Movies > COllection, then your titles are there.

Yes to trakt. If you are using Exodus without trakt, you are missing out big time.

Is that a Nexus Player or another Android TV you are installing it on?

It's a Sony tv.
On some movies it's asking me to authorize by going to some website is this legit? Would installing a VPN get around this?

A little confused on the benefits of trakt. It just keeps track of shows you've already viewed?

Just hit cancel, it'll still work.

I have found the install by Troy is so much easier than anything else.

I only clicked to see what came up. I didn't do anything other than take the pic and post on here. I don't feel like going through the process again but there were no instruction guides I had found that matched my guide exactly.

if you follow instructions exactly , and no clicking just to see what a certain button does, then it's a very smooth install.

No. I recently went to put Kodi on a FireTv and used an install I had done before and things just didnt' match up. The install instructions must have been for a different version of the firetv, and there must be upgrades that change things a bit, so things in the instructions don't exactly match up all the time.

You can save TV shows and movies to a library so you don't have to search them everytime

Exactly. There were small but possible important differences in what I've seen and what was on my installation. I'd rather ask then screw something up.

Use a build if you are a novice. Hyper Top Tutorials are generally the best. Several community builds. Echo is great.
