need help erasing an ipad 2

so here's the deal, older lady at my church got an ipad2 when her sister died. it has her sisters icloud on it. no one has any idea what the password is or any of the security questions. it has ios 8.1. i can't figure out a way to get around the find my iphone/ipad feature which is what is keeping me from erasing it. is this thing a brick now or are there options I havent' found?

it's not a lock code. it's her itunes password. it keeps saying the ipad is connected to blah blah blah @icloud and has find my ipad enabled.

yup. when it gets to the point in the restore where it wants to connect to itunes it says it's connected under ....@itunes.com and the previous owner must disable the find my ipad feature.

yup. it's a brick unless i can find some miraculous solution.
