I had a computer failure amd lost some of the music files from my hard drive. Is there anyway to download the music from my Ipod to the computer? Like a reverse sych?

I'm not a crapple genius, but if you plug it in, will it not just suck down the ones from the ipod that aren't on the computer already..?

Nope. Out of the box iTunes will only sync one way, to the iPod. There used to be a plethora of programs that do what OP needs, but not sure if any are around anymore. I know Senuti was one that did just that. Found the link for you LINK

I paid $10 for this software called iPod to PC Transfer maybe 5 or 6 years ago...used it twice, worked fine both times. See if that's still around.

Download a program called Sharepod on your computer. It's free.
