I don't think that's true for all video. I think it has to do with DRM standards (or non-standards).

Edge actually isn't a bad browser. If it wasn't made by microsoft, it would be cool to recommend.

I wouldn't say it's better than chrome, but it's a solid backup/alternative. I prefer it over firefox.

Firefox (mostly), because I use a number of plug ins

I believe Firefox 52 is disabling plug-ins.

Nah, they're just removing support for the very old type of plugins. They announced this a couple years ago, most modern plugins will likely still work.

Chrome is awesome if you need to turn your computer/laptop into a personal space heater.

Edge is really fast and overall pretty good, but it's very basic. They do have an adblock extension for it now which makes it usable.

I like Firefox the best. Runs well on all of my computer and has a lot of flexibility with the amount of extensions that are available.

i tried Edge - i liked it but the lack of extensions made it unusable at work. i use firefox whenever possible.

What extensions are you guys using that would make you not switch? I use chrome and I use a few extensions but none that would be a deal breaker. I stayed with chrome for cross-platform use.
