Give me a physical keyboard and I'll blow anyone out the water in texting.

Just lol. It's not always about speed baw. I'm pretty fast on my physical keyboard but that's not the reason I use one. Accuracy is extremely important to me. My job calls for me to be mobile 90% of the time so the majority of my communications happen through my cell phone. Since I'm communicating with doctors the majority of the time it's very important for me to be accurate with my communications. Virtual keyboards haven't been able to provide that for me.

Let me give you a real work example from this week. Me and my boss are sitting at the bar after a long day of being on the road. We finally have time to respond to all the emails and texts from docs we got during the day. Keep in mind we are discussing some very important clinical terms and processes and big deals depend on these conversations. This is how the conversation went.

Boss - Damn, this auto-correct is driving me fricking crazy.

NIH - Hey, have you seen that message from Dr. John

Boss - No, I can't get through these texts. My phone keeps trying to change everything.

NIH - Well let me know when you catch up, I've already responded to those guys.

Boss - Show me how you did that. (He has been interested in my Passport for months)

I showed him my touch sensitive keyboard on my Passport and he was speechless. After a few seconds he said "frick, that's why you're always so fast to respond with no crazy looking words."

When there is money to be made I'm using a physical keyboard. I don't have time to sit there fight with my phone. Closed $150K this week all through my physical keyboard. I think I'll stick with it for now.

I hate virtual keyboard because I text in 4 different languages. I'm not shitting you. Even when I'm typing correctly my phone will autocorrect to something I didn't type.

I hate having to go back and correct shite.

A physical keyboard will eliminate that inconvenience.

That and things like website addresses, so much nicer with real keys.

Pretty sure I'm about to pull the trigger on a priv. I was going to wait till the came out with the non slider, but the reviews all say that it is great.

When you get it, update everything before you do anything else. Also turn off the Gmail sync. Be sure and update both android and BlackBerry apps before set up.

Cool deal, will do. Sounds like they are already making some updates to some of the complaints that early reviewers had.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of sliders, but I've heard it's awesome when you get it.
