Making a large graph in excell

I'm trying to plot a graph with about 1000 points on excell. I have no idea how to make the graph show so many points. Any help is appreciated! The graph is time on the x axis and numerical values on the y axis

What type of graph?
You'll likely want to use x-y scatter plot, then select how you want it to display (points, lines, smoothed lines). You can modify how the axis is displayed if you don't like the default (ie. 10-100 vs 0-150, etc).

How do you modify the axis?

Right click on the axis and select Format Axis.
