Looking for a tablet to download and watch movies.

I'm looking for something inexpensive to download and watch movies. Maybe something that can hook to an external device for extra storage. And what platform can I use to download movies. I must admit, I'm a dummy when it comes to new tech toys. Need help

I would say a Kindle Fire HD 10' would be a good choice.

I just started playing with my Google Daydream VR thing and think that's how I'll be watching movies.
