LG TV picture is out but sound is still on

My LG picture is out but I can hear everything and can even change channels.

I'm guessing the backlight or backlight inverter went out. Try turning off the lights and shining a flashlight on the TV and see if you can see a faint picture.

Had my last LG fixed under warranty for failing to even turn on. Not long after the year from purchase passed, it is now doing the same thing. They refuse to repair. I really should file in city court, but it's just not worth it. This is the second LG TV that has failed in this way for me, and I have another doing what yours is doing. Yeah, I didn't learn frick LG.

don't get it fixed by the turds in BR, you are better off sending it to the company
