LG Sound Bar Cut Outs

So I recently purchased a LG 4k TV and LG sound bar to go along with it. I have it connected via optical cable. I noticed while watching a movie that it'll cut out sometimes for 2-3 seconds. It did it 2-4x during a 2+ hour movie.
Anyone experience this? Any troubleshooting?

I had a similar problem a few years ago with equipment from a different manufacturer than yours. It turned out to be a bad optical cable.
