My phone is constantly trying to mimic the wasted screen from GTA.

It constantly freezes up and slowly looses color to a gray scale. I have to keep sleeping and waking the screen until it finally works again.

Anybody know what's going on?

TIA

Sounds like the processor is dying.

I've had a G3 for over a year now and haven't seen that issue.

I've had mine since they came out and love it. Sad it's dying because I don't really want another phone.

Mine did the exact same thing. Ended up having to send it back to LG for repair. Got notification that it was shipped back to me today. Should have it back Thursday. Mine was only 10 1/2 months old when it started.

You contacted LG?

I wonder if it will matter since mine is over a year old.

Yes, I contacted them. They'll ask you to do a hard reset (which I did before I called) and then will send you a shipping label to mail it to them for repair. They never asked how old it was, but I did volunteer that info as part of my complaint. Don't know if it mattered.

ETA: When you get it back can you bump this thread and let me know if it was fixed?

Yeah. I just got an email from LG saying it was fixed and giving me the shipping info, etc. Doesn't give a lot of details but it does say:

Defect: Power-Reset or cycle

Repair Results: Flash Memory

Also it says my repair costs are $0 (they did tell me on the phone if it was a repair caused by damage (water, dropping, etc) that I would be charged for the repair) and that the warranty status was "under warranty". Not sure if that applies to the less than 1 year topic we were discussing or if it would be no charge regardless since it seems like a defective part issue.

I'll let you know when I get it back.

Got it back last night (missed the delivery on Thurs and had to sign for it). Working great so far. Just got home from ATT store getting the service switched back.

The repair info they sent just says "replaced flash memory".

Good luck with yours!
