Laptop scrolls up and down when moved

The wife's new acer aspire e15 Windows 10 laptop will scroll up or down on its own. I have noticed that when the laptop is moved physically up or down it scrolls up or down. How can this be turned off?

You mean titling it makes it scroll?
Might be a keyboard malfunction. Maybe the up/down keys are registering as being pressed for some reason. Plug in a USB keyboard, disable the laptop keyboard, and see if that works.
If it doesn't and it's a new machine, bring it back and get a new one.

Yes, I think it's the trackpad. Gonna turn the trackpad off tonight see if it helps.

Not the trackpad. Can I disable the keyboard without plugging in a new one?
