I don't post much on the tech board and wanted to get opinions on laptops.
In need of a new one for work and am looking at Dell, HP, ASUS and Microsoft Surface book. all are 13 or 15" touch screen. all are tablets too.
i have always had dell issued by the company. this will be my first purchase. would like to handle business and some personal stuff (photos, music, surfing web, etc)
any opinions on brands to stay away from would be appreciated.

Will you be using the keyboard and built in mouse? There's some that I can't stand using, keyboards especially. The feel of them and how much you have to depress the buttons varies greatly by brand. I like the dells, so if you are used to them don't overlook that if it won't be docked all the time.
A lot of the asus frames are all plastic and felt cheap to me. I'm rough only stuff so I didn't like that, like their screen opening felt very flimsy compared to other brands.
