Kodi updated to krypton on my phone

Newest version is now krypton. I had fusion build and had a lot of the home page options removed and just had movies, program, and settings options on the front page with the 5 shortcuts I used the most under movies..the whole set up has changed..don't think I like the layout now..was using both kodi and spmc on my phone with different builds on each one but now may just delete kodi altogether. Does anyone have experience with krypton?

Check the settings, I'm sure you can adjust it. I had the option to change the layout on it last time I changed my skin

My Kodi build is over a year old (on firestick) and works perfectly. What are the advantages of a new build?

I did for the most part but still a lot more than I want in the home screen...
I don't know what the advantages are, it just updated automatically on my phone..

Ugh. I have everything set exactly like I want it on jarvis. Hoping that this update won't screw it all up.

mine updated last night on my android tv. definitely is different.
I don't mind it though. I was able to go and mark which shows I wanted as favourites and now I can access all the shows I watch very easily from the homepage.

I'll have to look more into that..exodus stopped working on my firestick this morning..running Jarvis on it..I reinstalled it but still not working right..guess I may have to install krypton on their now, I don't know if that would have anything to do with it not working correctly..I haven't tried it on my phone..

Exodus has not been working for a while now apparently the dev who created it retired today due to too many wankers stealing his codeing. Exodus had been under DDOS attack for a couple days now. Also apparently the devs from TV Addons picked up Exodus and will try to maintain it so hopefully it will get better because that was one of the best addons kodi had for streaming movies in my opinion. But we will see.

Yes krypton also updated on my nvidia shield tablet. I uninstalled kodi and reinstalled Jarvis. I also added Ares Wizard US build and everything is back to normal. I just need to reinstall SMOOTHSTREAMS for my live sports streaming and everything will be set.

Just stopped this morning on my Riddick and was still working today on my phone..watched westworld through it just to check...but exodus in the firestick is just unresponsive altogether..
Did he make an announcement that he was retiring today it was this something that was coming? That sucks that he just got that tired of dealing with others trying to take his coding..

I found out about it through Twitter. Parts of the App will work and hopefully will get fix soon by the developers of TV Addons and will return to its normal state but will see.
