Just bought 6s. Can't access phone on iTunes. Help.

Just bought a new iPhone 6s and when I plug it into Mac it says can't read phone cause need to update to latest iTunes. Well I updated it and it still won't work. And tips for fixing this?

So you backed up old iPhone to iTunes and you are trying to upload your old info to the new one?

what OSX version are you running and what version of iTunes?
