iTunes won't update OR play podcasts

I'm refreshing them and nothing updates. I try downloading them and I get the "!". And it's a challenge to get any of them to play.
Is this a problem on my end or is this an issue with more people? What's a better way to access my podcasts?

possibility. You may want to uninstall and reinstall. I know Apple dropped support for Windows 7 with Boot Camp. Did they do the same with iTunes already?

I'm not tech savvy, but I'm guessing this means that iTunes is blocked at work? We just recently had our wifi network updated, new firewall, and had to get pandora unblocked (that was a must for a lot of people), so maybe I need to check on this as well.
