I can really say. I've had their services at multiple residences. Never had a problem. Recently my modem starts to act up. Broadband light blinking red. Troubleshooted everything. No dice. They came out today and gave me a new modem. Was working fine. Just now this one starts doing the same shite the other one was. What gives?

You may be having line trouble between your home and the CO. The next step is for them to come out and test the line.
I've been struggling with uverse recently as well. My router blips out, resets, and blips again. I'm not sure if it is their router but its log is showing numerous DNS issues. It's killing me as I can't work from home very effectively.

What model gateway did you get?
I had that issue in the NVG599 and power resets did nothing to correct it, but pressing the reset button on the back for 5 seconds cleared up the issues. Just don't hold it for more than 4-5 seconds. A 9 second hold resets everything.
