Issues with Chromecast watching LSU baseball game....

Happened last night and happening again today. Every time coming out of a commercial break, while the game broadcast comes back on, the volume of the game slowly fades away to nothing. If I stop "casting" and select the game again on the Watch ESPN app, and re-cast it, the volume returns. Does it every time. Just now I let the game go without volume until a commercial break, and the volume came back on for the commercial. Have unplugged Chromecast, plugged it back in, nothing helps.
Any ideas as to what I could try?

That has happened to me before I think it may be a result of the strength of your connection and internet speed.

I've had this happen on other devices connected through HDMI.
Usually, unplugging it and blowing off the dust from the connections fixes my audio problems.
