Is Nexus Protect worth it?

I've never purchased phone insurance before but the nexus protect only having a $79 deductible is tempting

I have it. Haven't needed to use it though, so can't tell you if it's hassle free or not.

I crushed my phone on a Wednesday night when I was supposed to go out of town Friday. Put in a claim about 8PM that night, Google guy called me about 815, claim was approved by 830. Went out next day air in the morning for no additional charge, got it Friday morning.
Pretty sure it is assurant backed, but Google people appear to make all the decisions.
