iPhone exchange calendar issue

My wife has an exchange account for her work email on her iPhone. Every time she opens up a calendar appointment, it sends an email to everyone on the appointment with an update. I can't find any setting which would cause this. Anybody have any idea how to turn this off?

It's a known bug with iOS. Update the phone to the latest version of iOS. If it is up to date the delete and recreate the mail account.
