Iphone Email Sub Folder Badges

I'm hoping someone may be able to help me with this. I have a new email account that is forwarding all emails to my work email. When they get to my outlook for my work account they are redirected into sub folders, but still unread. I have my work email set up on my phone, (contract work so I can't get new email set up on my phone). On my phone I get a buzz when they come in, but the red notification badge does not show up for the email. Is there any way to make the badge show that there is an email that is unread in a sub folder on the Iphone.
