Long story short, wife dropped phone in water. It is still operational, but it isn't 100%.

What is the best or most thorough backup for her phone so when she gets a new one all she has to do is restore and ALL her information/data/pics/etc is back in place?

Thanks in advance, I'm an android guy

Did she have automatic backup to iCloud setup? Do that and if you ever need a new phone you'll always have the latest and greatest to restore a new phone from. You can also do a backup to a computer at any time as well. I've done this probably 4 or 5 times with iPads and iPhones and it works seamlessly every time. When you get the new phone, in the setup there will be options to "Set up as new" or to "restore from a backup" and you'd restore from backup by either plugging into a computer to use the file or if you have it in the cloud, you can do everything straight from the new phone. All settings, contacts, apps right back exactly how they were.

I figured that was the case, but I didnt want to go thru all that then have someone say "oh, you wanted your contacts to?" lol

Just making sure it was a complete backup
