My son has an iphone4S and I would like to view some of his deleted texts. Is there a fairly easy way to to this?

TIA

Do you know what 'delete' means?

A better option would probably be to just talk to your son about whatever is bothering you. This way you don't risk him never trusting you again, and in general it's just good practice for parents to talk to their kids instead of spying on them.

You can hook it up to the PC and restore deleted messages yes. Know a guy that has to do it for his daughter.

This is true. I guess I just wanted to make sure he was telling the truth but maybe I just need to have a little more faith.

I was a total dick about it (sorry), but you took that very well. Good on you.

Of course, I don't know what's going down, but how terrible would it be if he was lying to you? As someone else mentioned, it's probably possible to restore some, if not all, of the deleted messages. Just make sure it's worth it before you go ahead with it.

I found a free program once(by googling) that would allow me to restore old deleted messages in PDF form.

With the number of ways kids can communicate these days, it seems futile.
