iPad wifi greyed out

Upon updating my iPad with the latest apple software update, I am unable to access the wifi button. It is gray and cannot be turned on. The Bluetooth is also inoperable.
I have done a hard reboot and restored the iPad as if new and it remains gray.
I have looked at YouTube and the apple website but have gotten no results.
Any suggestions?

If Wi-Fi is grayed out or dim on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
I hope this helps.
I've never had that happen to me. Give us an update because if it does work I'll remember that for future reference. There's always some problem with each of Apple's updates.
