I'm about to breakdown and upgrade to Windows 10...A question first.

Im 80% sure that im finally gonna upgrade today but i want to get some things straight before i upgrade.
I havent upgraded an OS in a very long time.
Will this upgrade delete any of my installed programs, pictures, music, videos, etc etc?
I have all my photos backed up to my cloud and external HD, but i just want to be sure.

one never can tell
O/S warns it will wipe it out, then you get a message, old O/S is in another folder
just back it up first then u r covered

and for me, instead of upgrading to 10, I bought a tiny acer with 10 installed and it works fine
I hated 8

Upgrade from 7 to 10 on my 7yo laptop was flawless. Other than the è hours or so it took to complete..nothing changed.

Same here. Did the upgrade on my desktop and laptop a few weeks back. No problems at all
