I can't get Yahoo from being my home page on Mozilla..

and it's driving me crazy. I've tried to change it, and it doesn't stick. Anyone else have any answers?

look under 'add ons'. i think you can disable it there.

Thanks, I think I got it changed. If I changed it under Options and home page to google.com, there is no save button, and when you close and reopen it was going back to some odd yahoo page. Ugh.

also check your add-ons. i'm almost positive there was some yahoo shite under there as well i had to inactivate and delete.

You might have a yahoo toolbar extension if it somehow restores itself again. Those get packaged with lots of free programs and I think adobe flash always tries to add one of those.

yep.
between fricking adobe and fricking java (both of which i have to have for professional reasons on my work PC) i'm constantly dodging the 'install toolbars and make your life miserable?' defaults.
it gets old when flash updates every 2.3 hours.

Folks in the apartment below mine are always loaded down with crapware / browser hijacks / toolbars not from porn like most red blooded Americans, but from downloading slot machine games by the boatload.
