I have music that I've paid for years ago that I was trying to listen to on a new PC. It now says DRM protected and won't let me play it. I already paid for this many years ago (Napster I believe) so I should rightly be able to stick this on my phone and play it.

I know there has to be some hacker out there who has figured this out.

Yep. Tell me what it is and I'll send you a drm-free FLAC version of it that I guarantee is way better quality than the shite you got from Napster.

There was a program I used a few years ago that scrubbed my entire library of anyDRM files. It only stripped the protection and didn't re encode the file. It's been a few years, and even then it wasn't fully supported anymore (I had to backdate my iTunes library for it to work).

I'm always late to the party technologically.
