How do I change the drop down menu color on Lollipop?

My phone just updated, and from everything I have noticed so far, they made lollipop for the gays. I want this fruity blue colored drop down menu to be black again. I couldn't find anything online other than rooting the phone, and I don't feel like doing that today. Any help?

If the update is too gay, the best option is to factory reset then it will all be back to normal

I have no idea why they felt the need for this bullshite.
My password to log into my phone now does this bubble animation that causes a delay, the menu is on obnoxious looking, the new icons look like a 4 year old's ipad.

My HTC m8 doesn't have any of these issues,I love the update so far.

It isn't a big deal on my S5 either...I don't tend to care what colors my drop down settings box is...
