Homepod + Sonos + Wink + HomeKit = IMPOSSIBLE ?

So.... I think my FIL is sending us a HomePod. Looks pretty cool. I assume they have Beats-like technology that should produce some quality sound. It also has SIRI technology that should give me some mild functionality over controlling things.
Here are my problems:
1) I already have three sonos speakers. Will the Homepod have to play independently from these speakers? Is there a way to sync them?
2) I have a WINK 1.0 already. There is no real problem, just some supplemental information. Now, to add to this, most of my GE Link bulbs, nest therm, nest cam, and leak sensors are not HomeKit compatible.
3) Obviously HomeKit does not have a hub. I have read one homekit article that successfully synced Wink 2.0 with HomeKit, but that is it. The only other articles I have seen require some coding-like requirements. I saw those on github and it was something called homebridge.
Is there a way to make all of these things work together somehow? It would be nice to have SIRI integration with my existing products.

HomePod doesn't ship until an unannounced date in December.
ETA: Also: at even wondering if an Apple product is going to play nice with other devices.

Maybe it will not be the HomePod then. I’m not exactly sure what he is going to get us. He said it was originally supposed to release in September, but that it was delayed. That kind of matched up with the HomePod. He said he was going to be flying through Alaska before heading to Japan, and was going to pick it (surprise gift) up. Not sure if he was trying to say he would get it in Alaska or Japan. Wonder what it is…

Several things can act as a HomeKit hub. AppleTV 4th Generation or any iPad that runs at least iOS 10.3.
The raspberry pi github called homebridge that you reference also works as a hub for non homekit devices using homebrewed recipes to integrate all your smart home stuff with homekit. It works well, I use it. Was able to bring in a DIY garage door open/close system to homekit that way.
