Accidentally clicked on test mode on startup. Goes into test mode screen. Now, after shutting down, it returns to test mode. How do I get the normal boot up back where I have to enter a password?

Thanks, but it doesn't tell me how to get out of test mode. Keeps rebooting to test mode. Even after going in msconfig and clicking on normal bootup.

Maybe this....

quote:

Aug 5, 2016 - Method 1. Click Start, and then type cmd in the Search box. Under Programs, right-click cmd.exe, and then click Run as administrator. At the command prompt, type the following text, and then press Enter: bcdedit /set TESTSIGNING OFF. Close the Command Prompt window, and then restart your computer.

Thanks. Ended going online and letting MS take control. Had to switch administrator from 'test' to my ID. Strange it was so hard to find that info
.
