Just got my LG G3 yesterday and I can't get gifs to send via text. Just shows up as a still photo for the receipiant. Used the default messaging app and then tried textra and Google hangouts... No luck. Any suggestions?

No, pics are going through. The gifs play in my photo album, but not in text. Exact opposite of my iPhone 5 where texting the was no problem but they wouldn't play in the photo album.

Some of the smaller ones are working, but a lot aren't. My wife has an S5 and I'm testing by sending them to her.

Both have AT&T, FWIW.

Eta These are the same gifs I sent with no problem from my iPhone 5 also on AT&T.

I think it has to do with the file size. Apparently at&t allows a max size of 600 kb for mms. I never had to worry with that with my iPhone though... Kinda have the sads...

Love the phone other than that...and not sure if it's really a phone issue or not.

I'm having trouble with MMS on my G3. Its a T-Mobile variant (model 851) unlocked and using at&t network. Everything works but MMS.
