Help Printing from Laptop to HP Photosmart Printer

I have a Lenova S510p Touch Ideapad. I also have an HP Photosmart 7510 printer. When I try to print from my Lenova it does not recognize the printer, although my smartphone does. What steps do I need to follow in order to allow me to print wirelessly to this printer?

is it a tablet? or a laptop?
if a laptop, do you have the software that came with the printer installed? if not, go to support.hp.com and download it.

Thanks, it's a laptop. I'll see what I can find at the hp site.
