Currently have a HP Pavilion and I cant stand it. The main reason is because of the battery on it. The only way I can use the laptop is if im within a cords length of an outlet.

My budget is $1500 and it can be either a PC or Macbook. I've had bad luck at picking laptops and could use the help of the Tech Board with this one.

I'm a fan of the Asus Zenbooks. They aren't too expensive, but you still get a quality laptop.

I have to agree with this. Asus makes some fine laptops in all price ranges.

Your budget can snag you:
i7 processor
16G RAM
Solid State Drive
etc etc

Asus Zen

or this

Asus Zen
