HBO is in talks with Apple over a partnership that would see its upcoming standalone web-only subscription television package available on the Apple TV, reports Michael Learmonth, writing for International Business Times. CNBC has also confirmed that Apple and HBO are in talks

Apple could potentially be one of HBO's launch partners for its web-only service, which may be called "HBO Now." News of HBO's web-based subscription service first surfaced in October of 2014, after HBO CEO Richard Plepler shared the company's plans at an investor presentation.

Too high IMO. You can already see everything on Amazon Prime.

Not any current shows. Game of Thrones, Silicon Valley, Curb, Boardwalk, John Oliver, etc.

Cool idea but Cox always runs promotions to get HBO and other channels for like $8/mo so it wouldn't be worth it to anyone who has any form of cable.

Cool.

If it was closer to the price of Hulu, I'd bet they would get cable cutters and people with cable

$15 a month is pretty steep for HBO Go. If it was packaged with something like SlingTV for an additional $5-10, it'd be much more appealing. I skip out on cable and get gigabit internet so I am subscribed to a several different online services to watch shite, but I don't know if I'm ever going to shell out $15 a month for HBO Go. I definitely won't now because I use my lady's account to watch it, but even if that all falls through, I'm not sure if it's worth it. Except for being able to watch Frequently Asked Questions About Time Travel and Silicon Valley whenever I want, I don't use it that often.
