Ok so I have the 3 items mentioned:
1) Harmony Hub (just got it)
2) Harmony Ultimate One remote (had it and activities have been fine)
3) Amazon Fire TV

Got the Hub to eliminate the Fire TV remote and just use the Ultimate One as my 1 stop shop. I have the activity turning on receiver and tv and fire TV just fine, however, it states that I need to connect the Bluetooth hub to the Amazon Fire TV.
Here's where it goes to shite.

It tells me to go to the Bluetooth remote section on the Amazon fire tv and then discover a new amazon fire tv remote control but it NEVER finds the hub.

Anyone have advice on this?

I've tried that unfortunately. Which of the 3 remote options got you connected?
Within the Fire TV I go to settings, then controllers and Bluetooth devices, then there are the 3:
Amazon Fire tv remotes
Game controllers
Other Bluetooth devices

But when I do any of these 3 and try to add new device it just spins and never discovers the hub.
Are they too close to each other (about 10 inches apart)? Do I need to hit "pair" on the back of the hub?
None of it seems to work!

I restarted the hub and the fire tv together and that resolved my issue!

I actually paired my PS4 Dual Shock remote with my Fire TV last night. I knew people have accomplished it before, but I was shocked that it worked because I tried 6 months back with no luck

I'm trying to pair my PS4 Universal Remote with my Fire TV. If I can do that, I'll control my PS4, Fire TV and TV all with that remote. A $30 remote

IDK if it's even possible..

. I fought that B for 45 minutes and couldn't figure it out. Finally used my tech 101 and restarted and it worked.
