I have a text group with 4 people with iphones and one person with a samsung. The person with the samsung doesn't get the messages or only gets them from one person. Seems like the messages get sent as imessages by default, but I don't think they are seeing regular text messages either.
Any idea on how to fix it? It was previously fine

I had a similar problem between my HTC One M8 and 3 friends' iPhones where 2 would receive my group messages and 1 would not, while I would receive all of theirs. I switched from the stock messaging app to hangouts and it fixed it for me.
Make sure the iphones can receive MMS messages, and if the person with the samsung had an iphone before, make sure they turned off imessaging/disabled their apple account/settings

try groupme app. It's nice because you can mute, hide, leave, reenter, etc.
Plus, kick people out
