Mashable

App scans and stores prints without glare/reflection

I have inherited all of our family's albums from the generations and will use this very soon.

I don't have any need for the app because i don't have pictures on paper. Would be great for my mom, but it's probably way too complicated for her.

I could show her but as soon as i leave she'd probably get stuck somehow.

Great idea though.

I guess if you cant do it at work you could probably do it in mass quantities at a place like fedex office or something. I've never really put much thought into it though.

Just take a thumb drive up there and scan them quickly.

Resurrecting a two month old thread, but I just read about and downloaded this app. Now it's my favorite app. Pictures come out like a flatbed scanner for all practical purposes.

About a thousand times better than just using your phone camera to duplicate the pic.

Video on how it works. Skip to the 1:00 mark to skip the silly intro. Photoscan

Do. it. now.

Will say this helped some photos that had issues after the flood.

Pretty cool. Currently use genius scan and it works ok but glare sucks.
