Anyone ever had an issue with a fire stick stuck on the Amazon logo? It is very old one but we’ve never had any issues with it. I’ve unplugged my and let it sit for 30 min or so but same thing happens when I turn it back on.

firesticks are consumables. i've had all kinds of errors with them eventually and would just replace them.

Do a factory reset. You will possibly need to reinstall all your apps, but maybe not.

Their latest version 4k+ max is on sale right now. I just bought one for less than $40.

Never had that problem, but if I did I’d get a new one.

I have an early generation that we use in a bedroom. Just noticed a few weeks ago it will not go beyond entering the app. Can’t select shows or movies now. It is also very sluggish. Maybe this is a larger issue (software update?) with the earlier products.

Just bought the newest available. Thanks for the heads up on the sale.

They could have programmed an update that ultimately disables older firesticks, think apple.

I've had luck with unplugging the stick from power AND the TV, removing the batteries from the remote and unplugging the TV, then reverse the process (any order I presume). Always worked so far...
