embedded youtube videos are blocked

I'm setting up a new computer now and another site I go to has embedded youtube videos that I can't see anymore. I've never had this issue before. It says "a plugin is needed to display this content" but there is no way for me to download a plugin. I'm using firefox and I just downloaded a youtube unblocker app for it but its not helping. Any help would be appreciated!

Youtube used to require Adobe Flash. They are transitioning to HTML5.

While you are on YouTube.com just add "ss" to the video URL in order to start the default YouTube downloader.
For instance:
Original URL: https://youtube.com/watch?v=YOcmSsBfafg
URL for downloading: https://ssyoutube.com/watch?v=YOcmSsBfafg

I remember doing something with html5 on my old computer but youtube.com still works fine. Its just embedded videos. Adblock has something to do with it.
