Duplicate Inbox Messages in Outlook..com

I recently set up my yahoo mail to be forwarded to my Outlook.com mailbox but I am getting duplicate inbox messages. Any way to fix?

Get rid of Yahoo mail. Seriously.
Most of the spam I get comes from people I know with Yahoo email accounts that got hacked.

Spam not really the big problem. Just need to know how to prevent duplicate inbox messaging in Outlook.com.

I'm referring to the fact that Yahoo accounts are apparently easily hacked and *you* will unknowingly send spam to all your contacts.
I know someone who in a nasty divorce fight this became an issue b/c her Yahoo account kept sending p*nis enlargement spam ads to her ex (as well as many others). Sounded hilarious at first but the judge was not amused.
Has nothing to do with spam you receive, it's that you will be sending spam without knowing.
