My battery life has been terrible and the phone gets pretty hot with normal use. Apps crash frequently, especially messages and Amazon. After the initial update, I did a factory reset and then reinstalled the lollipop update, but it didn't have any improvement in performance.

I can't say my battery life seems any worse, but I do notice the note 4 feeling warmer in my hand all the time now.

Every Samsung phone after an update does this. Samsung phones are notorious for horrible battery life/sluggish UI/warm phones after updates.

I updated a few days ago and so far so good.....except for the continued shitty call reception. I've started using my Google Voice thru Hangouts (internet based) to make calls while at home. My Note 1 works great when I put the simm card in it. And I've never gotten 4g data connection on this piece of shite.

My S4 Active can boil water after a quick scroll on TD. Convenient if you're hungry or like scalding yourself.

So I guess there's not much that you can do about it. All that heat burns a lot of energy. Just checking my phone periodically at the game for texts or Twitter updates and my phone is dead by the end.
