Do I need to "clone" sd card when upgrading in a galaxy s4

I am switching from a 32 gb to 64 gb sd card in my galaxy s4. I know that I need to unmount the old card before removing it. My question is, can I just copy and paste the stuff from that card to the 64 gb card or do I need to use some sort of clone tool so that the phone, e.g. music apps, recognizes all the same folders, e.g. music files?
