DIY Boombox help

So I bought some cheap components on Amazon thinking about building a portable stereo to take on vacation or wherever.
I bought this amp:
LINK
Originally I intended on just plugging it into the wall. But now I'm wishing I could power it by battery. Would this battery work? Would it simply plug in to the amp? The voltage is the same. If it does work how long you think it would run at normal volumes?

Yeah I'll admit I don't know shite about any of this. That's why I need HELP.
This just seemed like a fun project to drink beer to.

Probably will work. Two things:
1. Make sure that the output plug of the battery has positive polarity on the center pin and ground on the outer sleeve. That's what the amp requires according to the graphic above the power port on the back. Use a multimeter to verify.
2. Since I have no idea how loud you intend to play it or the resistance of the speakers that you are trying to drive, I assume that the battery will be capable of supplying sufficient current without burning up. That is a really low power amp so I assume things will be fine. DISCLAIMER: Take it slow and check often to make sure that neither the battery nor the amp are overheating. You don't want to see flames.

Thanks for the reply. These are the speakers I bought for it.

I'm probably gonna wire it all up and test it to see how it sounds before I go looking into a battery for it. Probably never gonna have it louder than it needs to be for a large living room.
If it sounds fine I'm going to flush mount the amp on the back of the box and install a battery like the one I listed. Will drill a hole to make a charging port.
Final product will resemble this but probably in a darker stain with a nice handle on top.

Welp. Amp arrived and only one channel works so back it goes.
Also I read up on those batteries and they are shite and likely to either not work or burn your house down. If I go with a battery I will use an sla.
I ordered another amp hopefully this one will work.

That enclosure looks very nice. I, too, built a DIY boom box but for the enclosure I used an old Peavy bass amp like this one. I replace the guts with a 12V power supply and class D car amp. I removed the front panel, cut a new one, and mounted two 6/12 in speakers and a 10" sub in it. I mounted a Logitech Bluetooth adapter to it so I can stream from my phone. Fun build that I still use today. I hope your works out well, also.
