Until today, while watching the OU/UT game. Players were fuzzy with lots of artifacts.

Connected an old, cheap box antenna, scanned channels and HOLY frick!

HD! Clear and sharp.

Is Hulu any better?

Not bad, actually. Just crappy images on YouTube TV.

No, it's a significant enough difference between the streamed version and the OTA broadcast version to be immediately noticeable.

well just FYI, good OTA HD is going to be much better than any comparable streaming option

You are not allowed to critique Google products on Tech Board. It's like Apple Fans but Google.

The game was fuzzy on PS Vue for me also. I think it’s just the Fox feed.

I hate Google and don't use any of their products, except YouTube. But the problem being described here still doesn't sound like a problem with the maximum quality YouTube offers

I notice the same thing with youtube tv thru my roku and thru ps4. I need to try it thru my fire stick and see if that makes a difference. I get plenty of bandwidth down and up. I’m on att 1000 MB down plan.
Pretty much everything else non-sports looks great. Football or basketball look blurry and artifacts are all over the screen. I tried changing the display settings in youtube tv from Auto to 720p, thinking it would prevent the problem if it was struggling to upscale or something, but it made no difference.
It’s annoying. I’m having a really hard time finding a football/basketball solution that looks crisp and clear like it looked from directv or from an hd antenna.

Someone responded "maybe he sucks at life" regarding his streaming issue. That's fanboy type messaging.

I am a Sony loyalist, but after using Vue for the last year or two I decide to switch to YouTube TV because they were slightly cheaper with a little more channels. Best decisions I could have made. Vue is very clunky and buffering takes a lot longer compared to YTV. It also didn't help that my Vue never could always correctly tell if I was at home or not, even though I always was. 80% of the time I was stuck with Cleveland or WV local channels, not Columbus. Not to mention the amount of time I spent with Vue customer support.

Do yourself a favor and try YoutubeTV.

This makes me want to cry. When I run Speedtests at home in the evening it’s between 1 and 5 mb/s.
